Kotka is a verified index of Canadian companies, with a date on every fact.
Three habits keep the index honest. Every fact carries the date it was last verified. Websites are checked against the company’s own name and phone before they are shown. And nothing is harvested from customers’ inboxes or address books, ever.
Looking is free. The only moment a credit is spent is when a verified email leaves the system: a reveal, an export, an API response.
Filter companies and people by industry and NAICS code, province and city, employee and revenue range, department and seniority. Count, page and build lists for free, as many times as you like.
Free on every planName, address, company phone, website, NAICS code, size and revenue where known, and the date behind each field. Nothing on the record is metered.
Free on every planOwners, officers and directors with title, seniority and department mapped to a published taxonomy. Reading them is free; only a verified email is paid.
Free on every planAn address is checked against the live mailbox before it is shown. One credit reveals it, a bounce refunds it automatically whatever you sent from, and re-viewing a contact you already revealed is free forever.
One credit per emailUpload a CSV or call the API with company names or domains and get the index fields back at the same credit price as the interface. Search results export as CSV.
Credits on export onlyEvery filter in the interface, including industry, NAICS, seniority and department, is available to the API, so a data team can rebuild any search programmatically.
IncludedEach record says when it was last verified. Records that fall out of the index stay visible as retired rather than vanishing.
IncludedEvery record carries a control to report an error and a request to be removed, answered by a person. Deletion propagates to exports.
Included
Eight rules, published, so the bill is never a surprise.
Filtering, counting and list building never consume a credit, and there is no cap on how many records you can select.
Company phone, address, industry and size cost nothing. Nothing is charged unless data is returned.
Whatever you sent from. A revealed address that bounces is credited back without a ticket.
A contact you have already revealed never costs a second credit.
Up to twice the monthly allowance, and annual plans get the same rollover as monthly.
Add the whole team. Credits sit at the workspace and the running balance shows before any action is confirmed.
Unlimited reading costs nothing. A credit is spent only when a verified email leaves the system.
No call, no forfeited credits.
Plan prices are being finalised. A free account includes unlimited search and a starter allowance of credits, and the rate card is shown in full before you buy anything.

A free account includes unlimited search and a starter allowance of credits. No card, no call.
Every field on a Kotka record says when it was last checked. This is a real record from the index, shown exactly as a signed-in user sees it before spending anything.
No contributor network reading your mail, no address book upload. Every record is checked on its own merits and dated.
The electrician with nine staff and the dental clinic with two partners are covered like any public company.
A NAICS code on more than nine in ten companies, with a published crosswalk, rather than one self-reported label.
Records read in English or French, and search understands both. Disponible en français.
Kotka is a verified index of 1.21M Canadian companies, with a date on every fact. Search it the way you would describe a customer. Read any record for free. Spend a credit only when you want a verified email.
